JOCK WHITE COLLISION is Hiring an Auto Body Technician Near Easley, SC
Jock White Collision Repair is looking to hire an experienced professional to join our team! Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in the auto body repair industry with I-Car certification as a plus. The ideal employee would have a strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and passionate about automotive repair. This position will involve carrying out a variety of daily tasks and the candidate should possess the ability to work well independently and in a team-based environment. Candidate must provide their own reliable transportation.
Responsibilities-
-Perform auto body restoration of all kinds, including light to heavy damage in a timely manner.
-Communicate status of repairs clearly to Body Shop Manager
-Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
-Ensure quality auto body work by utilizing power tools for precision.
-Collaborate with team members to complete auto body projects efficiently.
-Handle heavy lifting as needed for auto body repair tasks.
-Maintain I-CAR Certification to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in auto body repair
- I-CAR Certification
- Experience with MIG and Resistance type welding
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail in all collision repair procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and working in a demanding automotive repair setting.
